One of the men suffered “serious” head injuries and was rushed to Westmead Hospital.
The other two were taken to the same hospital with leg injuries.
NSW Police have established a crime scene at the intersection, with officers from the Crash Investigation Unit attending later today.
The drivers of a white Toyota Corolla and a maroon Honda CRV have been taken to Blacktown Hospital for mandatory testing.
Images from the scene show the Corolla had flipped onto its side, appearing to have hit a nearby tree with enough force to split it.
The CRV was also spotted stationary in the intersection surrounded by broken glass, with sawdust soaking up an oil spill on the ground.
Commuters have been urged to avoid the scene with Bungaribee Road currently closed in both directions.
