NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Nashville International Airport announced Wednesday that construction will be underway next week.
Construction crews will be working in the open space in front of the parking garages on BNA’s “New Horizon” project. The new structure will be a bigger rental car facility and parking garage.
BNA said the construction will have no impact on traffic during this phase of the project because work will be contained to the open area.
“Stay tuned for updates as this major upgrade that is part of New Horizon, the current growth and expansion plan at BNA that will help enable the airport to support 40 million annual passengers in the future, takes shape,” BNA said.
The $3 billion project began in 2022 and is expected to be completed in 2029.
