A body of a person has been found in an Edinburgh car park.
Emergency services raced to the Viewcraig Gardens facility after the alarm was raised at around 7.15am on Saturday.
A picture shared with Edinburgh Live showed forensic officers in white suits and blue gloves entering the car park.
It's understood police have been stationed at the site throughout the morning and a cordon has been erected in the area.
A concerned local resident reported being unable to access the steps which lead from St John's Hill to Holyrood Road as police stood watch over the scene.

Officers have since confirmed that they were originally alerted to a concern for a person.
It's understood the person passed away at the site.
The death is not being treating as suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Record: "Around 7.15am on Saturday, October 25 2025, police were called to a concern for person in a car park in Viewcraig Gardens, Edinburgh.
"Emergency services attended but the person has now died.
"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
"A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
