AN application to convert a builders yard in Bovey Tracey into a space to repair and sell cars has been given the green-light by planners.
Submitted by Kach Developments Ltd, the application – reference 25/01274/FUL – sought permission for change-of-use of Pro Arb House on Pottery Road to allow vehicle repair, storage and sale.
And Teignbridge District Council (TDC) have granted permission, albeit with conditions.
‘The development hereby permitted shall begin before the expiry of three years from the date of this permission’, the council said in its decision notice, which was published on September 23.
‘The business will be based on the purchase of vehicles from elsewhere which are then repaired, serviced and then displayed and sold from the site’, the planning statement for 25/01274/FUL reads.
