WEST BRADFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — A boy is dead after a deer crashed into the vehicle he was riding in Chester County Tuesday morning, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The incident happened on Downingtown Pike/Route 322, east of Romig Road, in West Bradford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
A vehicle heading east hit a deer, sending the deer into the westbound lanes and onto a vehicle. The deer landed on the vehicle’s windshield, injuring the boy as the first vehicle drove off, authorities said.
Police said the boy was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The boy’s age and identity were not released.
The vehicle that struck the deer is believed to be a black Toyota Sienna with heavy front-end damage.
