Two people have been left seriously injured after a BMW fleeing the police crashed into two parked cars with one vehicle ending up on its roof.
Emergency services rushed to Kings Road in Bradford which has been closed following the accident this morning. Fire crews and paramedics as well as police all attended the incident with the driver and the female passenger of the BMW taken to hospital.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "At 5.28am today (Sunday), a BMW M3 failed to stop for police when requested to do so in Canal Road, Bradford. A pursuit was authorised and the vehicle turned into Kings Road, where it was almost immediately involved in a collision with two parked cars.
"The driver and the female occupant of the BMW were taken to hospital where they were found to have suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries."

Police are continuing to investigate the scene of the crash for the coming hours with people advised to avoid the area.
A statement from West Yorkshire Police read: "A scene is in place covering both sides of Kings Road and Swain House Road.
"This is likely to remain in place for a few more hours today and people are advised to avoid the area while recovery and scene examination work continues."

Police have been pictured examining a crash site where an overturned red vehicle has been left in the driveway of a home.
Marks on the road and distances are being checked as part of the investigation into the accident which is understood to have happened early this morning.
A large emergency service presence remains at the scene following the crash this morning which appears to have involved at least three cars.
A red vehicle was left on its roof following the smash while a blue vehicle is badly damaged alongside another silver coloured car.
Police are examining the wreckage of a car which has been left on its roof and another vehicle which has also been left badly damaged.
West Yorkshire Police, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, and Yorkshire Ambulance Service are all at the scene of the crash where a car is lying on its roof according to eye witnesses.
Swain House Road in both directions closed due to accident investigation work from Idle Road to Sutton Avenue but traffic is coping well on surrounding roads.
