One person has tragically died following a three car collision in Edgeworthstown this evening.
The accident occurred at around 7pm on the Longford side of the town.   
A number of people were treated at the scene and have since been taken to hospital.
Emergency services are still on site and any motorists with dash cam footage are asked to contact Longford Gardaí on 043 3350570.
Details will be updated as the situation progresses.
