STAFF at a Limerick car dealership made a frantic dash to move vehicles to safety after a luxury SUV burst into flames at the premises on the outskirts of the city this Monday evening.
Limerick Fire and Rescue Service responded to the call-out from staff at the commercial premises on the Ballysimon Road after 6pm.

It is understood that a luxury SUV, that was parked up, burst into flames. It was located in an outside area and employees quickly moved vehicles in the vicinity of the vehicle ablaze.
There are no reports of any injuries. Traffic is moving as normal on the Ballysimon Road. A passerby told Limerick Live they saw “what looks like a vehicle covered in a huge blanket”.
Firefighters remain at the scene.
