Emergency services rushed to Edinburgh city centre after a car burst into flames on Sunday, February 1.
The incident began around 12.30pm today before the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the blaze on Great King Street in New Town.
Three fire engines were dispatched and remain on the scene. A spokesperson from the force told Edinburgh Live that there were no casualties.
An image from the scene shows a vehicle engulfed in flames parked beside a row of other cars in front of a block of flats.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "I can confirm we are in attendance on Great King Street.
"Three appliances are now in attendance after we received a call at 12.32pm on Sunday, February 1 of a car fire.
"Crews remain at the scene while the incident is ongoing. There have not been any casualties at this time. The cause of the fire is not currently known."
