Emergency crews raced to the M90 after a car burst into flames today. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service rushed to a blaze on the southbound side of the Queensferry Crossing on Saturday, November 29.
Two fire engines were dispatched to the scene after the service received a call at 3.57pm. Images appear to show a vehicle on fire on the side of the road with large plumes of black smoke rising from the blaze as motorists slowly negotiate their way past.
A spokesperson from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service told Edinburgh Live: "I can confirm we are in attendance on the M90 southbound. We received a call regarding a fire at 3.57pm on Saturday, November 29.
"Two appliances were dispatched and one remains in attendance (as of 5pm). There is no mention of casualties at the moment."
