EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — One person was rushed to the hospital Monday afternoon in serious condition after a vehicle crashed into a building in East El Paso.
According to the El Paso Fire Department, at around 3:19 p.m., emergency crews responded to the 1200 block of Hawkins Boulevard after a vehicle crashed into a building.
EPFD said the helicopter was first sent but ultimately the injured person was taken to the hospital via an ambulance.
No word yet on what happened or the extent of the injuries; however EPFD described the condition of the person as "code 3," which means, serious injuries.
Dashcam video shared on social media shows a blue car blowing past a stop sign, hitting the media on Hawkins Boulevard, flying and crashing.
