TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – One person was hurt after a car crashed into a Green Valley medical building today, July 3.
The Santa Rita Fire District and Sahuarita Police Department responded to a report of a vehicle that had crashed into a building at Northwest Specialty Care.
The building is located at 1295 W. Duval Mine Road.
When emergency crews arrived, they found the vehicle drove into the facility’s lobby.
The driver, the only person injured in the incident, was assessed at the scene and transported to a local hospital.
Fortunately, no employees or patients inside the building were hurt.
As a precaution, the building was evacuated to ensure the safety of its occupants.
Crews quickly secured the scene and started evaluating the structural integrity of the building.
The scene has since been turned over to the Town of Sahuarita and the Sahuarita Police Department for continued investigation and a building safety assessment.
