Rochester, N.Y. — A car reportedly crashed into St. Ambrose Church, Peace of Christ Parish early Sunday morning.
Rochester police said they responded to the intersection of Culver Road and Clifford Road around 12:30 a.m. for a report of a car that crashed into the church.
The people involved in the crash had fled the scene before police arrived, according to Rochester police.
A viewer who sent us a photo said that Sunday services went on as planned, with half of the church closed off.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 585-423-9300.
