A resident just outside the cordon on Heol Trelai who wanted to remain anonymous said he didn't hear a collision last night but did come out of his house after hearing a lot of shouting.
"It wasn't particularly unusual," he told our reporter. "There's often shouting in the street going on here. It happens most weekends. But I did notice there were a hell of a lot of people crowded around there just outside the club. People seemed angry. But I didn't see anything else."
Our reporter at the scene said: "The cordon is very large. It stretches from the junction at Lon y Castell to the junction at Church Road. It's not the full road. It's the side outside the 4th Glamorgan Homeguard Club.
"Crime scene investigation unit is here. Numbered cones are out on the road directly outside the club but there doesn't look like there is any remnants of a collision. There are some items of clothing on the floor."
