A WOMAN has been rushed to hospital after a car crashed into a house in a Scottish coastal town.
Emergency crews raced to the scene in Dalgety Bay, Fife, shortly before 4pm this afternoon.

The alarm was raised after officers received reports that a vehicle had crashed into a property on Woodlands Bank.
The terrifying incident happened at the junction of the street with Steeple Crescent.
The woman was understood to have been inside the home when the horror collision occurred.
Her beloved little sausage dog escaped during the incident, but it’s understood that it has since been reunited with the family.

The woman was reportedly rushed to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.
Her current condition is not yet known, however, according to social media posts from her daughter, she was “not in a good way”.
Photos from the scene show a dark-coloured Nissan smashed into the property.
The front of the home appeared to have suffered extensive damage, with a section of the wall next to the window being ripped apart.

Masonry and bricks were also torn off the front of the property, and the area under the window was engulfed by the car.
Bricks and debris were seen strewn across the front of the home.
And a large crack was seen across the structure of the property up to the upstairs window.
Blue police tape was seen erected around the home as emergency services descended on the street.
Several fire engines were seen parked along the street alongside police.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that several appliances were scrambled to the scene.
However, they have since left the area.
Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
