Multiple people are believed to have been injured after a car ploughed into patrons seated outside a cafe in Sydney’s inner west before fleeing the scene.
Emergency services have rushed to a cafe on Norton St in Leichhardt on Saturday morning after a car crashed into multiple people, seriously injuring one woman who was pinned by the car, and injuring others.
The woman, believed to be aged in her 60s, was rushed to hospital in a serious condition, with others still being assessed by paramedics.
The driver allegedly ran from the scene but was found and arrested at another location.
