A homeowner in Southwest Philadelphia is cleaning up a mess left behind after a crash crashed into his home on Thursday.
Fortunately no one was home on Sept. 18 when the crash happened on the 7100 block of Paschall Avenue, but now Thomas Harvey is cleaning up the piles of glass and debris that was left behind.

Harvey said he got a text from his neighbor telling him to come home only find that his entire front porch was turned inside out.
Surveillance video obtained by NBC10 showed the chain reaction on a busy street that led up to the crash right across from a school.
In the video, a black car can be seen swerving around two other cars stopped at a red light. Seconds late, a grey car crashes into the black car.
The crash sent the black car flying right into Harvey’s house.
Harvey said that the two people inside the black car fled the scene.

Two of Harvey’s neighbors, Richard Arocho and Lisa Miller, were there when it happened.
“I heard a skeert, boom. That’s when we looked out,” Arocho told NBC10.
The couple said that the driver in the grey car was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
Two months ago, Harvey said, another car had crashed into his porch.
Harvey is calling on the city of Philadelphia to step in and stop the speeding.
“Today its me. Tomorrow it’s going to be somebody else,” Harvey said.
He plans to contact city officials to get speed bumps installed in the area.
This is a developing story. Check back here for updates.
