SAN ANTONIO – Multiple people have been taken to the hospital after a car lost control and veered into an opposing lane on the city's Northwest Side.
The crash happened around 8:50 a.m. Sunday near Braun Road and Amelia Pass.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, a car lost control at the intersection and veered into the opposing lanes, and was struck by three cars.
The driver of the car that lost control was taken to the hospital in critical condition. At least 5 other people were taken to the hospital.
Police are not sure what caused the driver to lose control but said wet road conditions may have been a factor. Traffic investigators were dispatched to the scene.
