A new wastewater document filed with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for “Project SNK” reveals what may be building outlines and utilities for the Cars and Villains Land expansions coming to Magic Kingdom.

The filing provides the clearest look yet at what may be the physical footprint of both lands.
The wastewater plans show multiple facility structures for both expansion areas. The Cars Land expansion, Piston Peak, will sit near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. The Villains Land expansion will be positioned to the north of the Cars area.

The document outlines several “FACILITY” structures connected by a network of utility lines. These appear to represent building locations and underground infrastructure needed to support the new lands.
The plans show green utility lines marked as “12’S” connecting various points of connection (POC) throughout both expansion areas. These utility runs will connect to existing Magic Kingdom infrastructure, including a notation for “CONNECT TO (WDW-12’S) (MH#18) DIVERSION.”
Rough measurements of the facility structures shown in the plans reveal substantial building footprints across both lands.
The largest structure sits in the Villains Land area at approximately 70,000 square feet. This is comparable to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios, which measures 71,000 square feet. A second Villains building measures around 48,000 square feet.
The Cars Land structure comes in at roughly 40,000 square feet.
For comparison, Rise of the Resistance at Hollywood Studios has a building footprint of 92,000 square feet, while DINOSAUR at Animal Kingdom measures 85,000 square feet. Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT is the largest ride building at Walt Disney World at 197,000 square feet.
The 70,000-square-foot Villains structure suggests a major dark ride or indoor attraction. The smaller buildings likely house additional attractions, dining, or retail spaces.
The Cars Land portion sits adjacent to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. The facility structures shown in the plans indicate multiple buildings will be constructed in this area. The utilities route around the existing coaster and connect to infrastructure near Frontierland.

The Villains Land expansion occupies the northern section of the project area. Multiple facility structures are outlined in this zone, with utility connections running between them and linking to the broader Magic Kingdom utility network.
The plans show at least four separate facility structures in the Villains area, suggesting multiple buildings or attraction structures will be built.
The Cars Land expansion will extend Frontierland into a reimagined area inspired by the American Southwest and the world of Pixar’s Cars, to be know as Piston Peak. This will not be a copy of Radiator Springs Racers from Disney California Adventure. Instead, Disney has said this version will feature all-new attractions and off-road environments built specifically for Magic Kingdom.

Expect a desert landscape with rockwork, winding roads, and detailed theming that blends the rustic Frontierland style with the stylized look of the Cars films. Disney has confirmed there will be multiple attractions, including at least one major ride. The area is also expected to include themed dining and shopping locations that fit naturally into the expanded Frontierland setting.

This expansion will sit on the former Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island between Haunted Mansion and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Villains Land will be a completely new themed area dedicated to Disney’s most iconic villains. Disney has described it as a place where the bad guys finally get their own spotlight, with a darker atmosphere and bold, dramatic environments, all on an “incredibly twisted grand scale.”

The land is expected to include two major attractions – one of which may be a roller coaster, along with themed dining and retail. While Disney has not revealed specific characters or ride systems yet, the concept art suggests a moody, storybook-style setting filled with gothic architecture, and larger-than-life villain imagery.

Villains Land will be located farther back beyond the Cars area, making it one of the biggest physical expansions in Magic Kingdom history.
