A major police operation has taken place in Sydney's south-west after tactical operations officers conducted a "high risk" arrest.
Vision from the scene in Revesby shows two cars left with holes.
NSW Police say further information will be released when "operationally appropriate".
Several people have been arrested during a police operation, where bullets were fired into two cars during peak hour traffic in Sydney's south-west.
Tactical operations officers conducted a "high risk" arrest on River Road, Revesby about 5pm on Tuesday.
Images from the scene showed a Mitsubishi SUV riddled with holes in the front and rear windscreens.
The footage also showed a Mercedes located further along the same road with holes in the windscreen and the side windows smashed.

Witnesses reported sounds of gunfire as police swarmed the car but police later said no bullets were fired in the operation, with bean bag rounds fired into the vehicles.
Phone footage from one of the scenes appeared to show multiple officers with their guns drawn as they pinned a man to the ground in the middle of the busy road.
Another video showed the moment officers carrying rifles surrounded the Mercedes and attempted to break the front passenger window and arrest the driver.

Inside the Mercedes's glove box there were keys to a Porsche and gloves with a fast food cup and spare clothes on the seat.
"I was in my house and heard some gunshots going off … I heard some more gunshots and [saw] cars were swerving," one witness said.
"There was a few officers."

Police sources have described it as a "high risk" operation — a rarely-used tactic reserved for when officers believe there is imminent danger.
There was no ongoing threat to the public, police said.
"More information will be released when operationally appropriate," NSW Police said in a statement.
