Even though he might not be getting playing time, Shedeur Sanders is still making a difference in the Cleveland Browns community.
Only time will tell if the Cleveland Browns – who don’t have the best track record when it comes to drafting quarterbacks and having them become successful – and the dual threat quarterback prosper. He’s been stuck in quarterback depth chart purgatory ever since he got to Cleveland, but he could always be thrust into action now that’s he the QB2 being starter Dillon Gabriel.
Despite all of the chaos surrounding the beginning of his NFL career (sliding in the draft, presumably being hated by the team that drafted him), the son of the great Deion Sanders is trying to maintain a specific image of himself. That’s why he’s tried to help out the community any chance he gets, and also why he was upset when a rumor started swirling that he blew his signing bonus on a $500,000 Rolls-Royce for himself.
The video from this past summer got viewed almost 4 million times. It showed the green luxury vehicle being unloaded into a driveway while it seemed as though Shedeur Sanders was on FaceTime making sure that the vehicle was delivered. It was a day later when the Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback took to his official X account to quote the video and put the rumor that he had bought himself a nice, fancy car to rest.
Shedeur stated that the Rolls-Royce purchase speculation was a lie, and that he had other things on his mind:
“Another lie… I’m focused on my team, not a car purchase!”

So he might not have bought that car for himself… but he most definitely bought a new car for someone else.
Shedeur Sanders has made headlines once again for working with Kia of Bedford and Drive Point Auto Group to gift a woman in the Cleveland, Ohio area with a brand new car. Torri Wright of Avon, Ohio was nominated to win the car by her young daughter, Justice. The daughter told those organizing the car giveaway that her mom worked incredibly hard, and didn’t have a reliable mode of transportation.
Wright was ultimately chosen to receive the gifted vehicle, and the Cleveland Browns rookie QB was the one who delivered the message:
“Your kids nominated you to get this free car we’re giving out. We’re definitely excited, and we hear that you are a hard working woman. We just want to help you out.”

Torri Wright was incredibly grateful, and fought back tears over the phone as she a) talked to Shedeur Sanders and b) found out she’d be given a Hyundai Elantra.
The following day, Shedeur met the woman at the Kia of Bedford to help her drive away in her new ride. It was there that Sanders and Wright met each other for the first time, and she hilariously said this to him as she accepted the gracious gift:
“I’m an Eagles fan, but I want to see Shedeur soar.”

That’s great.
She probably could have kept that Philadelphia Eagles comment to herself, but regardless, congrats to Torri Wright on the new ride. And shoutout to Shedeur and Kia of Bedford for working all of that out.
