Police said the vehicle and casualty were found in a ditch by the side of the road
A man has been found in a critical condition after a crashed car was discovered in a ditch in Leicestershire.
Police were called to Fenn Lanes near Dadlington shortly before 06:00 BST on Saturday.
They found the silver Ford Fiesta in the ditch and the driver had to be removed by ambulance crews.
Officers said they were still investigating the circumstances around the crash but did not currently believe other vehicles were involved.
Police said they were keen to talk to anyone who was driving in the area between 5:15 and the time the alarm was raised, especially those with dashcam footage.
