Sales are set to begin for a new official car accessory package featuring the world-famous virtual singer, Hatsune Miku.
The new “Move Canbus Hatsune Miku Edition” (nicknamed Miku Canbus 2) is designed specifically for the Daihatsu Move Canbus vehicle.
This marks the fifth collaboration package in a series that began in 2014, produced by the Daihatsu Business Support Center (DBC).
The theme for this edition is “Picnic,” designed to blend casual daily use with an immersive private space.
Unlike previous editions, which used Miku’s standard V2 outfit, this design features a unique costume selected through a public fan contest.
The main visual for the project was illustrated by the popular artist necömi.
The vehicle’s design integrates numerous motifs from the fan-designed costume.
The exterior features a hood stripe based on the costume’s necktie and a pink “01” emblem on the fender, referencing the mark on Miku’s arm.
The side mirror stripes mimic the gradient of Miku’s hair, while the side stripes feature line art of Miku and a border collie on a picnic, along with a waveform representing Miku’s voice and a fan’s heartbeat.
Other exterior details include a fuel cap decal with all six Piapro Characters, a rear fender stripe using the costume’s check pattern, and a custom “Miku Canvas 2” logo emblem on the back.
The interior is also extensively customized to match the theme.
It features unique designs for the steering wheel cover and shift lever cover, as well as seatbelt pads that use the costume’s check pattern.
The seat covers for all four seats are designed to perfectly replicate the look of Miku’s white shirt and checked skirt from the winning design, while the interior paneling features her signature hair gradient color scheme.
A physical concept version of the car was previously exhibited at “Hatsune Miku: Magical Mirai 2025” in Osaka and Tokyo, allowing fans to experience the design in person.
The Move Canbus Hatsune Miku Edition Full Set is being sold as a comprehensive package containing 9 exterior items and 5 interior items to transform the vehicle.
It will be priced at 256,300 yen (approx. $1,709.52 USD / £1,350.70 GBP).
This package consists of accessory parts only, as the vehicle body is sold separately.
This automotive collaboration adds to a busy season for Hatsune Miku fans.
Good Smile Company recently opened pre-orders for the “1/7 Scale Figure Hatsune Miku 100th Adventure Ver.” based on an illustration by KEI.
Additionally, a unique “Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku” prize figure is set for release, alongside updated “Dollfie Dream” dolls of Megurine Luka and MEIKO.
The “Move Canbus Hatsune Miku Edition” is scheduled to be released on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
It will be available for purchase at Daihatsu sales companies across Japan and via Amazon.
