Delhi Blast News Live Updates: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said all possibilities are being investigated after a car explosion near Red Fort Metro Station killed at least eight and injured several others. Teams from the NIA, NSG, and Delhi Police’s special units are on the scene.
An explosion in slow moving vehicle near Red Fort traffic signal occurred around 6.52 pm; with unconfirmed number of people reportedly inside the vehicle, Delhi Police said in its first official statement on Monday.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has reached the site as Delhi Police and forensic teams continue their probe. The incident comes hours after a massive cache of suspected explosives was recovered from a Faridabad residence linked to a Kashmiri academic.
