Macedon, N.Y. — Deputies are attempting to recover the body of a driver who died after their car went into a pond in Macedon on Wednesday morning.
Wayne County Sheriff's Department says the car left the road around 4am on State Route 31F between Wilcox and Canandaigua Roads.
13WHAM's crew on the scene witnessed responders in SCUBA gear going into the water.
The driver's identity is not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin.
