The police cordon on Dorset Avenue has been pushed further back as part of the ongoing investigation into the incident. A forensic collision investigator is now carrying out detailed scans of the area leading up to Huddersfield Road, carefully documenting the scene to establish how the crash occurred, reports Manchester Evening News.
Pictures taken at the scene reveal the severity of the incident, showing a car that has crashed directly through a wall. Emergency services are likely to be assessing both the safety of the site and the condition of those involved, as the scene underscores the seriousness of the crash.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At around 9.20am this morning (Monday 8 December), three fire engines from Oldham, Mossley and Stalybridge fire stations attended a crash involving a car going into a bungalow on Dorset Avenue, Oldham.
“Firefighters arrived quickly to make the vehicle safe and remove one person from the vehicle. Crews were in attendance for roughly two hours.”
