A man in his 20s is fighting for his life following a crash in south Manchester yesterday.
Police say a car crashed into another vehicle during an overtaking manoeuvre on the A34 Kingsway in Burnage at around 2pm on Thursday. The car then flipped and crashed into a parked car.
Today Greater Manchester Police appealed for any witnesses to the incident to come forward and revealed the driver, a man in his 20s, had suffered life-threatening injuries and he remains in a critical condition in hospital.
"No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing," said GMP in an update today (September 19, 2025).
The statement continued: "As officers continue their investigation, they are asking for anyone with information to please come forward.
