A man has been arrested after a pedestrian in his 80s was seriously injured in a crash in a Tesco car park.
Police have confirmed that two cars and a pedestrian were involved in the crash at the Tesco store on Hamble Lane, Burseldon, at 12.33pm.
The pedestrian, a man in his 80s, suffered serious injuries, police said.
A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving and remains in police custody.
This incident sparked a major emergency response, with multiple fire engines, police cars and ambulances in attendance.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called at 12.33pm today to report of a collision involving two cars and a pedestrian outside of the Tesco store on Hamble Lane in Bursledon.
“The pedestrian, a man in his 80s, has been taken into the care of the ambulance service for treatment for serious, but not life-changing, injuries.
“A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
“He remains in police custody at this time.”
