A man was fatally struck by a car that was being driven by a 16-year-old boy in Manchester, New Hampshire, Sunday night.
Manchester police say they responded around 6:18 p.m. to the area of 917 Valley Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian and arrived to find a Volkswagen Jetta had been traveling eastbound on Valley Street just east of Cypress Street when it hit an 81-year-old man.

The victim, from Manchester, was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries, police said. His name was not immediately shared.
The Volkswagen driver, whose name was not released given his age, was not injured in the crash. Police haven’t said if he’ll face any charges in the deadly crash.
