Local news:
An elderly man has died after being struck by a car in Sydney’s north.
Emergency crews rushed to a unit block on Helen St, Lane Cove, just before midday on Sunday following reports of a pedestrian hit in the carpark.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 85-year-old man at the scene, but he could not be saved.
The driver — an 87-year-old woman — was unharmed and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

A crime scene has been established as North Shore Police investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
