The emergency services were called out in Richmond today after a car collided with a building.
A fire crew from Richmond Fire Station attended the incident at 1.43pm and made the scene safe.
They used small tools to isolate the vehicle’s battery before leaving the incident with the police and ambulance service.
Eyewitnesses say the vehicle had been travelling towards the town centre when the crash occurred.
It is understood the driver may have suffered a medical episode.
