A CAR has flipped on the A9 as mercy crews were scrambled to the scene.
Emergency services raced to the horror crash on the A9 south between Greenloaning and Dunblane at around 4.30pm this afternoon.

Several cop cars and ambulances were spotted at the scene of the collision.
Three fire appliances were deployed.
Traffic came to a halt as emergency services tended to the overturned vehicle.
The A9 at Balhadie was closed southbound and the northbound road was partially blocked following the accident.

Lane one has since reopened and is running in both directions.
One vehicle now remains in the central reserve.
The current travel time is around 15 to 20 minutes in both directions.
Traffic Scotland posted on X: “16:30 #A9 – Balhaldie The #A9 at Balhaldie is partially blocked due to a collision. One vehicle has overturned. Traffic is looking very slow on approach…please #takecare. Police are en-route.”
An update posted on Traffic Scotland’s X account reads: “A9 – Balhaldie
“Lane one is now OPEN and running in BOTH directions following an earlier collision. One vehicle remains in the central reserve.
“Current Travel Time: N/B: 15 mins (Appx) S/B: 20 mins (Appx)“.
Bus operator Scottish Citylink also wrote: “We are sorry to announce that due to RTI on A9 south between Greenloaning and Dunblane, all M8, M9 & M10 services are subject to delays.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We recieved a call at 4.26pm. We deployed three appliances to the scene. We ensured the vehicles were safe and left the scene at around 5.15pm.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service and Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
