Police have identified the man who died and the two others in critical condition after a Friday crash in Fayetteville.
Police said Dameion Anderson, 40, was driving on Cliffdale Road when he crashed head on into a car with two people inside, Daniel and Mercedes Mafnas. The crash happened just before 12:45 p.m. near Regency Drive, according to police.

Officer said Anderson was involved in a separate crash in a parking lot on Cliffdale Road prior to the deadly collision.
Police said after hitting a car, he drove away from the scene and the driver of the vehicle he hit followed him. Anderson lost control of his truck in a curve on Cliffdale Road before crashing into the car driven by Daniel Mafnas.
Both Daniel and Mercedes Mafnas are in critical condition as of Friday afternoon. Police are still investigating.
