Firefighters were called out to a car trapped in floodwater at Appersett, near Hawes, in the early hours of this morning.
The incident happened at around 1.15am when the Hawes crew was mobilised to assist.

Using water rescue equipment, firefighters entered the water and pushed the vehicle to safety.
Both occupants of the car were uninjured.

They arranged a taxi home and will organise recovery of the vehicle during daylight hours.
