Priced at £3.99 / $3.99 / €3.99, Formula Legends’ new ‘Raw Power’ DLC pack goes on sale 23rd October.
Just over a month after its release, Formula Legends is getting its first premium car DLC pack this month.
Launching on 23rd October for PC and consoles, the ‘Raw Power’ DLC pack is set to add three new cars to the diminutive racing game’s roster, each representing a different era with unique handling characteristics.
First, there’s the ‘The Jorsey’, described as an early-90s contender known for its elegant lines and breakthrough design. This suggests it’s based on a Jordan from the 1990s.
The 1990s-inspired racecar is joined by ‘The Superbows’, a “daring late-70s experiment that pushed the limits of engineering with its radical, ground-hugging style.” It appears to be based on a Williams FW07 ground effect car, which debuted in the 1979 season.
Finally, ‘The Beta Borneo’ is “a modern challenger from the 2020s, blending sharp aerodynamics with cutting-edge performance. The logo suggests it’s inspired by one of the Alfa Romeo team’s cars from the 2020s, though the livery doesn’t match its real-world counterpart.
As for pricing, the Raw Power DLC Pack will cost £3.99 / $3.99 / €3.99 on digital stores. Additional premium DLC is expected to follow.
Unveiled during IGN’s FanFest pre-show, Formula Legends’ first premium DLC arrives after several free updates in response to community feedback, with the most recent patch introducing a new handling setting that reduces input lag to make the steering more responsive. AI opponents are also less aggressive since the update, according to developer 3DClouds.
Future updates are set to rebalance the game’s difficulty levels. Driver AI will also be “significantly improved,” becoming more aware of the player’s position and “less likely to perform late-braking lunges.”
It’s completely Free
