HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Fire crews say they were called to an afternoon crash in Horry County.
Horry County Fire Rescue says the crash happened near South Highway 701 and Lucas Bay Road in the Bucksport community area.
The agency says there are critical injuries reported after the two-vehicle crash with ejection, involving a tractor-trailer.
The involved vehicle reportedly overturned.
All lanes of South Highway 701 traffic are currently blocked and expected to remain shut down for a while, crews say.
Horry County Fire Rescue was dispatched at 2:01 p.m.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating, and the Horry County Police Department is assisting.
