A car has burst into flames at Heathrow Airport's terminal 3 car park, sparking major disruption for those heading to the airport this morning.
Footage from the scene shows bright orange flames ripping through the structure, with thick grey smoke billowing from the site. In another clip, travellers with large bags are seen waiting along the side of a road outside Heathrow, which shows cars in a long queue of traffic.
The blaze has sparked disruption on the M4 tunnel heading to Terminals 2 & 3 and drivers have been warned to expect delays.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at this stage, but initial reports suggest the car is an electrical vehicle. The vehicle was destroyed by the blaze, while two adjacent vehicles were damaged.
This morning's fire comes after a major crash at J14 on the M25 sparked significant delays in the direction of Heathrow Airport.
For that route, National Highways is reporting roughly an hour's worth of queues. The road is not expected to re-open until mid-afternoon, with police still investigating the crash.
Heathrow Airport said the Terminal 3 car park is closed, which may cause delays on nearby roads. The rest of the airport is open as usual, it added.
National Highways have warned drivers to check their routes as a section of the M4 southbound from the airport has been closed following the blaze. Those travelling in are advised to use the M4 J3 or the M25 J14.

The London Fire Brigade says the cause of the blaze is now under investigation. In a statement, it said: "Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire in a multi-storey car park at Heathrow Airport.
"A car on level one was destroyed by fire and two adjacent vehicles sustained minor damage. There were no reports of any injuries. The Brigade’s Control Officers took the first of eight calls to the fire at 0904 and sent crews from Heathrow, Hayes and Feltham fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 1006.
"The cause of the fire is under investigation."

A taxi driver has issued an urgent warning to travellers who are booking cars to get them to Heathrow Airport's Terminals 2 & 3.
Posting to TikTok, the driver said: "Heathrow Terminal 2-3 tunnel blocked due to incident. As taxi drivers we can't get to terminal. Cancel or reschedule your flight."
A Heathrow spokesman said: "Earlier this morning our teams responded to a small vehicle fire in the Multi Storey Car Park for Terminal 3. The fire was quickly extinguished. The car park is temporarily closed which may cause some congestion on surrounding roads.
"This is an isolated incident and all other car parks at Heathrow are operating as normal. We apologise to passengers for any inconvenience."
The cause of the fire remains unknown at this stage.

Firefighters from Heathrow, Hayes and Feltham have been sent to tackle the blaze this morning.
Emergency services say they received eight calls alerting them to the fire, with the first coming in at 9.03am.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters have raced to the multi-storey car park to put the fire out.

Those travelling to HeathrowAirport are being advised to use the M4 J3 or the M25 J14.

Buses travelling to Heathrow this morning have been forced to terminate after a car burst into flames at Terminal 3.
Arriva Herts & Essex said in a statement on X: "Good morning, due to a fire in Heathrow, the 724 service will be unable to serve the Greenways stop or Lees Road stop in both directions, the buses will be terminating and starting from terminal 5."
The M4 Spur and Heathrow Southbound tunnel has been closed following the blaze.
