We’ve just heard from Aleksandra, who has contacted us after flying into Heathrow Airport today.
She said there was no disruption on the flight itself but she did face delays on leaving the airport.
“It took me more than 2 hours waiting for a taxi to get back home to Windsor,” she said.
She added: “The car park was quite chaotic at Terminal 2, with many people waiting for taxis.
“My taxi driver wasn’t aware what was going on and was stuck in traffic for more than an hour on the slip road to Terminal 2.”

Police said they are continuing to search for other suspects who are believed to have been involved.
Following on from our last post, National Highways have now closed the slip road off the M4, leading to Heathrow.
It’s the second time today the road has been shut.
National Highways says:
At the request Heathrow Airport the M4 southbound spur road is closed between the M4 and J4A, this is due to the amount of vehicles and pedestrians within the tunnel.
We’ll keep you updated.
National Highways says there are delays in excess of 45 minutes on the approach to the Heathrow Airport Tunnel.
The same road, which was closed earlier due to the disruption at Terminal 3, reopened at around 9.30am, but traffic continues to build.
