A 17-year-old High Springs man died on Friday night when his motorcycle collided with the back of a car on State Road 121 southwest of Lake Butler.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the motorcycle rider was traveling southbound on SR 121 at 6:49 p.m. and passing multiple vehicles when he ran into the rear of an SUV being driven by a 42-year-old Lake Butler woman who was slowing down to turn onto SW 76th Way.
The High Springs motorcycle rider sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
