This is the shocking moment when a car flipped into a garden in a horror crash near Falkirk.
Emergency services were called to Carronshore Road, in Carron, after the alarm was raised shortly after 6pm on Sunday.
CCTV footage taken from a property nearby showed the moment the car flew through the air before it crashed into a neighbour's garden.
In the clip, the vehicle can be seen twisting as it leaps meters up into the sky.
A cloud of dust can be seen before the car plummets back down to the ground.
Seconds later a number of locals can be seen rushing out of their homes to see what has happened.
Police say that when they arrived the occupants were not at the scene.
Following an investigation, however, a 23-year-old man was arrested for alleged road traffic offences.
Another picture taken shortly after showed a police officer in attendance standing beside the white vehicle, which could be seen to be upside-down in a front garden.
A wall, fence and front gate could be seen to be damaged as a result of the impact – with the car sitting just yards away from the property's front window.
The vehicle appeared to be completely crushed following the smash with debris, including a number plate, seen scattered across the garden.
A local resident told how the home belongs to her grandparents – who were in at the time of the crash.
Writing on Facebook, she said: "It was my grandparents garden the car is in.
"The driver plus the two passengers fled the scene.
"Thankfully my grandparents and their neighbours weren’t harmed!"
Another local added: "This is such a busy road with pedestrians and kids. It's a miracle no one was killed."
Police say that their enquiries into the crash remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6.05pm on Sunday, October 12 2025, police were called to a report of a single-vehicle road crash on Carronshore Road, Carron, Falkirk. The occupants of the vehicle were not at the scene on police arrival. There have been no reports of any injury.
"Following investigation, a 23-year-old man was arrested for alleged road traffic offences. Enquiries are continuing."
