Huawei and its new 43-speaker in-car audio system have been making waves, and it allows for those in different parts of the EV to listen to their own music.
In another show of how far ahead Chinese automotive manufacturers are, the Huawei system allows those in the front of the car to listen to different music from those in the back.
Huawei has also promised that it will offer an immersive experience, and the 43-speaker setup is hugely impressive.
The new system has debuted in the Maextro S800 ultra-luxury sedan, and it is the most ambitious audio system it has launched so far.

Making its debut on the luxury sedan EV, the system boasts a 43-speaker setup, with what is called ‘4D surround-sound.’
Huawei is hoping to create an ‘ultra-surround acoustic design.’
Built into the system are 2,920W dual amplifiers that can produce a more ‘impactful’ sound.
There are also rear 4D exciters that synchronize music and video content together.
This is the most ambitious automotive audio project that the Chinese company has created so far.
Huawei has made clear in the past how ambitious it wants its audio projects to be.
This latest development shows just how seriously it is taking things.
The system also utilizes some very interesting pieces of technology, and the most intriguing feature of the system is its independent sound zone technology.
The manufacturer said the independent sound zone technology creates a 30db isolation between the front and rear listening areas.
It also claims it creates a 99 percent energy separation.
In theory, that means passengers in the front can listen to completely different music from those in the back seat.
That could be a game-changer for families who go on long journeys.
There is also what is called a ‘Dual-Diaphragm Subwoofer.’
The company says that this ‘breaks free’ from traditional cavity constraints.
It uses the entire cabin space for bass, an impressive little detail if true.
The Chinese manufacturer has debuted the system on the Maextro S800.
This is the ultra-luxurious electric sedan produced within Huawei’s HIMA automotive alliance.
The cleverness of this system makes us very intrigued to see what the company does next.
