SLIDELL, La. (WVUE) – The Highway 11 bridge has reopened as of 9 a.m.

Commuters between Slidell and New Orleans will have to avoid the Highway 11 bridge this morning.
A multi-vehicle accident involving four cars and a boat has resulted in a shutdown of the bridge at this time.
Officials are asking all drivers to avoid the area.
