A unique Naples museum has received another honor to add to its trophy case.
Revs Institute was named in USA Today’s 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards for 2025. The national news publication rated the car museum third among the 10 best across the country for 2025.
Revs was chosen as part of USA Today’s “Thrills ‘N’ Wheels” award winners.
Last year, Auto Trader rated Revs the No. 5 best auto museum in the world and No. 1 in Florida.
The Great Britain-based Auto Trader analyzed Google review scores and annual global Google searches for more than 180 auto museums across the globe, the company said in a news release.
“The automobiles showcased at the Revs Institute in Naples, Florida, are among the most important and rarest built, almost all meticulously restored to peak operational condition,” USA Today said about Revs.
“Visitors can see more than 100 vehicles from 1896 to 1995, including a 1939 Mercedes-Benz W154 Grand Prix, 1896 Panhard et Levassor Wagonette, and the first Porsche 550-01.”

The Revs Institute, 2500 Horseshoe Drive S., houses more than 100 cars — built between 1896 and 1995 — that show the evolution of the automobile. There’s the French 1896 Panhard et Levassor Wagonette; the 1934 Chrysler Airflow Imperial CV‑8 Coupe, the first full-size U.S. production car to incorporate streamlining in its design to minimize air resistance; and the 1974 powder blue Jorgensen Eagle 7400 USAC that won the 1975 Indianapolis 500.
Revs in 2008 was the creation of Miles Collier, whose grandfather was Barron Collier, a national advertising mogul and real estate developer who founded Collier County 100 years ago.
The USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards highlight the very best in travel, food + drink, and lifestyle. Every week, USA TODAY 10BEST invites a panel of industry experts to nominate their favorite points of interest and attractions across a wide range of categories.
“10BEST editors then vet these nominations and select a final set of nominees to be presented to the voting public for a period of four weeks,” USA Today said.
