Farmers and tradespeople in the UK can now combine premium equipment and practicality in one package with the latest D-Max
When you picture a commercial midsize truck, it’s easy to imagine something purely functional: unpainted bumpers, steel wheels, and an interior that prizes durability over comfort. Still, not everyone doing serious work wants to live without a few creature comforts, so Isuzu has introduced the full-spec D-Max V-Cross Commercial for the UK
The new variant builds on the flagship V-Cross trim but is reworked with professional users in mind. According to Isuzu, it’s designed for farmers, tradespeople, and construction workers who spend just as much time on the job site as they do on the road.

The exterior mirrors the regular D-Max V-Cross, with Bi-LED headlights, Dark Grey accents, and matching 18-inch alloy wheels. However, the Commercial is distinguished by the lightweight bed canopy, which protects the cargo area from the elements. Other goodies include a tow bar and a bed liner.
Despite having a dual-cab bodystyle, the interior has a two-seater layout. The space usually occupied by the rear seats has been transformed into a secure load zone.
Furthermore, the rear windows are tinted, and the front seats are under protective covers. Isuzu says the conversion is permanent, ensuring the truck stays registered as a commercial vehicle.
Standard equipment includes a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, an eight-speaker audio system, leather upholstery, heated seats, dual-zone climate control, a Rough Terrain mode, and an ADAS suite.

There are no changes to the ladder-frame underpinnings, with the Commercial version retaining the 1-tonne (2,204 lbs) payload and 3.5-tonne (7,716 lbs) towing capacity of the passenger version.
Power comes from the familiar 1.9-liter turbodiesel, the only engine offered in the UK. It produces 162 hp (121 kW / 164 PS) and 360 Nm (265.5 lb-ft) of torque, paired with an automatic transmission and a four-wheel-drive system featuring a rear differential lock. The more powerful 3.0-liter turbodiesel remains unavailable for this market.
How Much Does It Cost?
The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Commercial is priced at £41,995 ($56,500) before tax, with first customer deliveries in the UK and Northern Ireland scheduled for November. For comparison, the entry-level D-Max Utility starts from £27,755 ($37,300) while the passenger V-Cross costs £38,255 ($51,400).
