NEW BRITAIN, PA — A Philadelphia man has been charged in connection with a stolen vehicle investigation that led to the recovery of a loaded handgun, marijuana, and additional vehicle key fobs, according to the Central Bucks Regional Police Department.
Authorities said that on October 14, 2025, officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at the CoPart parking lot in New Britain Borough. Upon arrival, police located a white vehicle that had been reported stolen from the Philadelphia area. The driver was found seated inside, while the passenger, identified as 22-year-old Hudahaifa Yasir Muhammad, was inside the CoPart building at the time.
Officers reported that a visual inspection of the vehicle revealed a stolen loaded handgun, marijuana, and multiple key fobs belonging to other vehicles. When Muhammad returned to the vehicle, he and the driver were both taken into custody without incident.
Muhammad was arraigned, and bail was set at 10 percent of $200,000. He was subsequently remanded to Bucks County Prison.
He faces multiple charges, including receiving stolen property, firearms not to be carried without a license, possession of a firearm prohibited, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of an instrument of crime, making repairs or selling an offensive weapon, and possession of marijuana.
All charges are allegations, and every defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
