A crash resulting in an overturned car caused severe delays on the M4 near Port Talbot on Wednesday morning. The incident happened near junction 41 heading east towards Cardiff and traffic monitoring systems including the AA reported delays of around one hour at around 9am.
The collision partially closed the road with one lane closed according to Traffic Wales. Traffic cameras near junction 41 were showing miles of standstill traffic.
There were also some delays at junction 37 for Pyle due a lane closure for emergency repairs which is continuing to affect traffic in the area, causing further disruption to commuters.

The crash has now cleared and the lane has reopened following the crash earlier today.
Traffic monitoring systems show the overturned vehicle has been recovered, but residual delays of around 30 minutes remain.
Traffic cameras show many drivers are still stuck in crawling traffic on the M4 eastbound at junction 43 this morning.
Traffic monitoring systems show that delays are easing on the M4 in Port Talbot. They currently stand at around 45 minutes – down from one hour.
The lane closure is due to an overturned car. Police and ambulance remain at the scene.
Traffic Wales cameras show the severe congestion at Junction 43 Llandarcy, where there are 60 minute delays in the area.
South Wales Police have issued a statement confirming they are in attendance at the crash site. They described the crash as serious and are asking all drivers to avoid the area.
A police spokesman said: "We are at the scene of a serious collision on the M4 eastbound at Junction 41 (Pentyla/Baglan).
"Traffic is queuing from junction 41 (Pentyla/Baglan) to junction 43 (Neath/Llandarcy). It is expected to remain congested for some time.
"Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. Delays are expected in the area."
There are delays exceeding 61 minutes on the M4 in Neath Port Talbot.
The AA's latest update says: "Severe delays of 61 minutes and delays increasing on M4 Eastbound between J42 A483 (Swansea East / Briton Ferry) and J41 A48 Pentyla-Baglan Road (Baglan / Pentyla). Average speed five mph."
The AA is also reporting queueing traffic and one lane closed due to rolled over vehicle and crash on M4 Eastbound at J41 A48 Pentyla-Baglan Road (Baglan / Pentyla). Lane two (of two).

AA traffic maps are reporting delays of 40 minutes between J42 A483 (Swansea East / Briton Ferry) and J41 A48 Pentyla-Baglan Road (Baglan / Pentyla). The average speed is five mph.
