A collision on the M62 has caused two lanes to close this evening, sparking major delays.
The eastbound carriageway between junction 24 for Huddersfield and junction 25 for Brighouse have been shut off to motorists. Police, fire crews and paramedics are on scene, along with Highways Officers who are assisting with traffic management.
Drivers have been warned to expect long delays which are continuing to build.
"This incident is now clear, and all lanes have re-opened on the #M62 eastbound in #WestYorkshire between J24 (#Huddersfield) and J25 (#Brighouse)," National Highways said in an update.
A 50 minute delay remains on approach, but should start to ease, it added.

Live traffic service Inrix said there are "severe delays" on the M62 following an earlier collision.
It added that three vehicles were involved in the crash between junctions 24 and 25 on the eastbound carriageway.
National Highways has said the incident is now clear, and all lanes have re-opened, but a 50 minute delay remains on approach to the area.
At least six emergency services vehicles are on scene, including two ambulances, two fire trucks and two police cars.
Drivers are facing hour-long delays in and around the M62 closure, with at least four miles of congestion.
National Highways say emergency crews are continuing to work at the scene.
