Earlier today, Mahindra announced the prices of the new XEV 9S three-row electric SUV, starting at Rs. 19.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Built on top of the brand’s INGLO platform, the three-row EV is offered in six colours and four variants.
Although Mahindra has announced the prices of the 2025 XEV 9S, bookings are yet to commence. Let us take a closer look at the key timelines announced for the model, which is available across three battery pack options.
5 December, 2025
Test drives of the new Mahindra XEV 9S are slated to begin early next month. We expect the carmaker to offer only the top-spec Pack Three Above variant (79kWh) battery pack for these tests.
14 December, 2025
This is when interested customers can add their preference to the cart. For the uninitiated, the model will be offered in six colours, namely, Stealth Black, Ruby Velvet, Everest White, Desert Myst, Midnight Black, and Nebula Blue.
14 January, 2026
Official bookings of the 2025 Mahindra XEV 9S will commence in mid-January. While the booking amount is yet to be revealed, you can choose and shortlist the colour and variant, the latter of which has four options, including Pack One Above, Pack Two Above, Pack Three, and Pack Three Above.
23 January, 2026
Mahindra will begin delivering the XEV 9S towards the end of January next year. We expect a scheduled rollout, starting with deliveries of the top-spec Pack Three Above, followed by the Pack Three variant, and so on.
