Mahindra XEV 9S comes with several notable features. It will have a triple-screen dashboard, making it one of the most tech-forward SUVs in its segment. It will also offer Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), offering features like lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and collision warning.
Inside, the XEV 9S will be equipped with ventilated and powered front seats. The front passenger seat will also feature an electric Power Boss function, allowing for better adjustability. A panoramic sunroof will further elevate the cabin experience.
The SUV will also come with 7 airbags for enhanced safety and a premium 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system for superior audio quality.
Mahindra XEV 9S is expected to offer two battery options: a 59 kWh and a 79 kWh battery. With these battery sizes, the XEV 9S is expected to deliver a solid electric driving experience, with impressive range and efficiency.
The official launch date of the Mahindra XEV 9S is set for November 27, 2025. As for the price, it is expected to be in the range of Rs. 21-30 lakh, which positions the XEV 9S as a competitive offering in the electric SUV market.
In terms of competition, the Mahindra XEV 9S will go up against the Tata Harrier EV and the BYD eMAX 7. Both are strong contenders in the electric SUV market, but the XEV 9S offers unique features like the Power Boss function, a triple-screen dashboard, and premium tech, which will make it stand out in this competitive space.
The Mahindra XEV 9S is expected to be a major player in the growing electric vehicle segment. With its combination of Power Boss, reclining seats, advanced safety features, and premium audio system, the XEV 9S offers a comprehensive package for those looking to switch to an electric vehicle.
