Authorities are investigating a serious crash at the intersection of Tryon and Hammond roads in Raleigh.
Sky 5 flew overhead at 1:30 p.m. The intersection was blocked, and multiple vehicles were involved The accident cleared just before 5 p.m..

Crews appeared to be trying to get people out of their cars. One car was in the woodline that had significant damage to its windshield and front. A stretcher was parked nearby. 
Footage showed two people being loaded onto the ambulances.
